About this job

QC Technicians follow through on set processes and ensure adherence to best production practices and product quality standards, as well as monitoring the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of product output.

  • Perform physical and chemical testing in laboratory, such as Moisture, pH test, Net Weight verification.
  • HACCP checks in the processing line, such as monitoring Critical Control Points, (Metal Detector)
  • Analyze incoming raw ingredients to make sure they meet Company quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform Sanitation Audit prior to start of each shift and operational.
  • Enforce all GMP's, HACCP, and safety policy where appropriate.
  • Responsible for retaining long term, QA retain samples (Shelf life study), correctly label each finished product and properly put in designated location.
  • Monitor quality of products being produced.
  • Assist with cleaning and maintaining laboratory.
  • Interact with production staff to remedy manufacturing problems regarding QA issues.
  • Carry out all assign projects as needed
  • Maintain all laboratory equipment in good condition.
  • Daily Equipment calibration.

 

Experience & Education:

  1. High School Diploma plus 2 years' experience as QC Technician
  2. Bilingual English/Spanish speaker required
  3. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
