MSLA - Availability Coordinator - Cypress, CA

MSLA is a Medical Corporation that provides comprehensive independent medical evaluations (IME) and other IME related services to the government and private industry. In addition to our core clinics located throughout California, Nevada and Hawaii, MSLA manages an extensive nationwide network of fully credentialed physicians in all major specialties, each meticulously screened for compliance with our standards for service excellence.
 
The role of the Availability Coordinator is to secure available appointment times from providers in support of being able to schedule Veteran examinations within contractual guidelines.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for contacting MSLA’s provider network to obtain available dates and times for Veteran examinations
Analyzes and helps manage provider appointment availability and provider utilization
Develops and maintains relationships with providers
Works with Clinic Supervisor to ensure MSLA clinics are approved for utilizing traveling provider schedules
Provides support of inbound and outbound calls
Ensures all pertinent information is documented in MSLA’s database
Informs leadership of provider gaps, and offers solutions to fill the gaps
All other duties assigned by Management

Required Qualifications:                                                           

HS Diploma or equivalent level of education
Minimum 1 year of experience in a Call Center environment
Proficient in general computer use and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to follow routine procedures consistently and efficiently
Able to work independently, and in conjunction with team members at all levels of the organization
Able to understand instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Organized and Detail - oriented
Self - motivated and Adaptable
Able to consistently follow through on expectations
Preferred Qualifications:

Associates Degree in Healthcare or Business related program
Previous experience in a healthcare environment
