A dedicated, patient-centered teaching hospital has a key leadership position now available for a Lead Interventional Radiology Technologist.

This hospital is a Trauma Center and sees nearly 100k ER visits annually. They also see approximately 275k outpatient visits and perform over 11k surgeries per year. They offer a full spectrum of services but are especially well known for their Cancer Program, Orthopedic Care and Women’s Services. Their clinical quality is much lauded as they recently received the award for "Recognition of Commitment to Quality Innovation” by a regional organization. The Joint Commission also recognized them as being a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures.

The Interventional Radiology Tech will help to lead a busy department that sees patients 7 days a week. Some common procedures include angioplasty/stent placement Arthograms and joint injections Myelography, GU/GI procedures, Y90 Treatment and various Oncological-specific procedures.

The Manager of Radiology will be responsible for the supervision for all technical staff in Interventional Radiology, but also have much other administrative accountability. Management and ordering of capital equipment, overseeing the daily technical operations of the department, maintain budgetary oversight and tracking cost efficiency, ensuring compliance and quality control, developing productive and successful relationships with physicians and acting as a mentor and coach to technical staff are a few of the important roles this Senior IR Tech will play.

A collaborative attitude and great communication skills will serve this Manager of Radiology well as they will work closely with senior leadership and physicians to gather information, work on hospital-wide initiatives and develop strategic goals.
