Nurse Director of Emergency and Trauma Services - Full-time

A new and exciting opportunity is now available for an Executive Director of Emergency and Trauma Services at a reputable 400-bed acute care hospital. The Nursing Director of the ED will join one of the oldest and most stable healthcare systems in Northern Indiana.

This distinguished Medical Facility has been named one of the busiest Trauma Centers in the area, averaging 50,000 visits annually. The Executive Nurse Director of Emergency Services will have oversight of the 33-bed main Emergency Department, the 7-bed Pediatric ED and the 4 trauma bays.

The Clinical Operations Director Emergency Room Department will have the opportunity to develop and implement new policies and procedures to improve the Emergency Room Department. The Clinical Nursing Director Emergency Services will be able to use their own ideas and leadership experience to promote efficiency and quality improvement within the Emergency Department.

Reporting directly to the VP of Clinical Operations, the ED Operations Director is supported by the Emergency Nurse Manager and a highly qualified team of nurses. The Clinical Nurse Director Emergency Room Department will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, the ER budget, maintaining departmental standards and development of new programs to help grow the trauma service line.
