Acute Care Nurse Case Manager

The RN Case Manager is responsible for managing utilization reviews, financial outcomes, discharge and treatment planning for patients transitioned from the Emergency Department, and completing medical record documentation. The Nurse Case Manager ensures efficient and effective patient care are being delivered in the Medical Surgical unit, Intensive Care Unit, and Emergency Department as patients transition to the next phase of their treatment. The ideal Utilization Clinical Nurse Manager assures cost attentive care during patients’ stay. The ideal Clinical Case Nursing Manager must be able to multitask, perform independently, and efficiently transition with ease along the spectrum of their duties.
