An exciting career opportunity has just become available for a Cardiothoracic Critical Care Charge Registered Nurse at a compassionate hospital in New York. The Cardiothoracic ICU Assistant Nurse Manager will join a compassionate hospital system that is dedicated to improving the health of those they serve by providing a wide range of healthcare programs, education, and services.
The 300 plus bed acute care hospital that has several areas of excellence including cardiac care, women and children, and trauma center. This community-focused acute care hospital is committed to providing health a positive patient experience and quality medical outcomes. The hospital has a high volume of cardiothoracic patients that are cared for by the top physicians, nursing staff, and patient care managers.
The CT Intensive Care Unit Nurse Coordinator will work in a collaborative work environment with the cardiothoracic surgery intensivist on the ICU, to ensure the continuum of care for every patient. The CTICU Clinical Assistant Nurse Manager will provide medical services to adult cardiac patients who have had a wide variety of cardiac surgeries such as; valve replacement/repairs, PIC Line, Balloon Pumps, Heart and Lung transplants, and aneurysm repairs. The Cardiothoracic Charge Nurse will perform bedside care, will write progress notes, participate in daily rounds, dictate discharge notes, and participate in hospital wide quality improvement initiatives.
