An outstanding hospital in Southern California is actively seeking their next Nursing Director of Women’s and Children’s Services!

This 200 bed medical facility is widely recognized throughout the San Fernando Valley for the unprecedented clinical care delivered in each one of its specialty departments. From Emergency Medicine, to Critical Care, Cardiovascular Services to Rehabilitation, this full-service facility is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care each and every day.

The Nursing Director of Women’s and Children’s Services will join a highly skilled team of medical and nursing professionals, and will be responsible for coordinating and directing all patient care that is delivered throughout the Department of Maternal and Child Health. The hospital offers comprehensive care to women and their newborns, including Prenatal care and counseling, Labor and Delivery, Post-Partum care, and Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) for newborns.

With the assistance of the Women’s Services Nurse Managers, the RN Director of Maternal Health will develop departmental goals and performance improvement initiatives, and will implement effective measures in order to achieve these goals. The Perinatal Services Nursing Director will demonstrate not only their clinical expertise but also their leadership skills, and will serve as a model and mentor for the entirety of the Women’s Services staff.

Working closely with the hospital’s Chief Nursing Officer, the Maternal and Child Health Nurse Director will regularly monitor and evaluate both the quality and effectiveness of care, and will impermanent policies and procedures designed to improve upon these measures.
