Cable Installation Technician

Prince Telecom, a national leader in the telecommunications field, is hiring individuals to install Cable TV/Phone/Internet and Alarm systems in residential homes. We have multiple openings in multiple areas. We offer growth potential, training, competitive benefits for qualified applicants.

This is a production based pay position with the potential to make up to $400-$1600 a week.

Duties include

•        Install cable TV, internet, telephone and Alarms in accordance with guidelines
•        Provide customer education regarding products and services
•        Installing overhead drops and outlets to service residential homes
•        Connecting equipment to customer TV's, Computers, etc.
•        Direct contact with customers in the home
•        Configuring advanced services to customers equipment
•        Install House Box in customer home
•        Reconnect/ Disconnect existing cable services  
•        Install and configure all customer equipment
•        Troubleshooting during daily service calls
•        Install Splitter at ground block and install cable to cable modem in customer homes
•        Install computer Ethernet card into customer's home

Requirements: 
•     Must be able to pass Background and Drug screening
•     Valid driver's license with minimum of 2 years driving experience and a good driving record 
•     Ability to lift up to 70 pounds 
•     Ability to carry a 30' ladder from truck to pole 
•     Ability to work in tight spaces such as a crawl space of a house
