Job Summary

The Director of Care Management supports the vision of the total healing environment and the values of integrity, accountability, respect, quality and commitment while providing direction and leadership in the development and coordination of the Care Management Department and supervising nurse care managers and social workers.

Job Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred; Cerner strongly preferred

Required Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current, valid Arizona or compact state RN license
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Three - five years of acute care experience managing a Care Management or Utilization Review Department
  • Proven leadership experience that includes: team building, motivating staff with enthusiasm and compassion, communicating skills across disciplines, recruitment of staff, and department budgeting to include effective management of fiscal responsibilities and allocation of hospital resources
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service

  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows

  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
