Position Summary:Ability to independently drive the Thrift Shop delivery box truck. Assist with pick-up and delivery of merchandise as well as with the loading and unloading of merchandise for the Thrift Shop. Also responsible for basic janitorial duties. Must be able to function without immediate supervision.Position Expectations & Responsibilities:* Expected to drive Thrift Shop Truck.* Expected to assist customers in receiving area and other areas as requested.* Expected to assist in displaying, packing and unpacking of merchandise.* Expected to clean and vacuum employee areas and other areas.* Expected to assist in merchandise pickups.* Expected to assist in the loading and unloading of merchandise from delivery trucks* Expected to have good organizational skills.* Expected to drive in a professional and safe manner* Expected to be courteous and compassionate.* Expected to demonstrate professional behavior.* Expected to recognize the influence of beliefs and cultures on behaviors and accept strengths and limitations in others.* Expected to exhibit adaptability, flexibility, self control and maturity in work and behavior.* Expected to exhibit calm responsiveness to emergency or stressful situations.* Expected to recognize situations which require notification of a supervisor.Minimum Education and/or Experience:Up to one month related experience and/or trainingLicensure/Regulation/Certification: N/A* Incumbent may be required to perform emergency duty before, during and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency, crisis situation or disaster (man-made or natural) including evacuation sites.* The person in this position will work in a smoke-free location, and is expected to adhere to all smoking restrictions.* In the spirit of wellness for both our employees and patients, Boca Raton Regional Hospital has instituted a mandatory influenza prevention vaccination program.
