AR/Billing Clerk Job Description:

Fire Alarm Inspection Company looking for an administrative assistant to fill a back office support role. This position will require filing paperwork, coding invoices. matching invoices to purchase orders, and also ordering materials. 80% of the work day will be receiving P.Os and matching invoices. 20% will be doing other office tasks.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily billing (entering service orders and work orders for invoicing daily).
- Typing work orders
- Preparing daily bank deposits
- Taking customer calls
- Resolving billing issues in a timely manner
- Processing credit card payments

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Comfortable working with various computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
  • Exceptional personal and telephone customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Legible handwriting
  • Ten Key: Calculator and Keyboard
  • Able to multi-task and detail oriented
  • Basic bookkeeping knowledge
  • HS Diploma/ GED Required
