Red’s Restaurant and Lounge is open year-round and offers stunning sea views. Looking for a meeting space for your group The Nauset center can accommodate with over 30,000 square feet of beautiful event space.

The Opportunity

As a Cook at the Sea Crest Beach Hotel, you'll be responsible for producing and executing all food items on the restaurant and lounge menus, and in the banquet kitchens. Other responsibilities will include the upkeep and cleanliness of all culinary areas and the adherence to all policies set forth by management.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare food to specifications before and during unit operations.
• Properly measure and portion all food items; comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, and department rules and procedures.
• Ensure proper food temperatures are maintained and food is stored properly.
• Follow and uphold all health codes and sanitation regulations.
• Use waste control guidelines and record all waste on spoilage sheet, with a strong effort to control food cost.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to follow procedures and take directions; work as a team player.
• Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements and proportions.
