Hospitality and Maintenance professionals, are you ready to apply your expertise to a rewarding career with an industry leader? 3H Group Hotels, recognized as a Top 100 Hotel Owner & Developer by Hotel Business magazine and a leading Southeastern U.S. hotel company managing Marriott, IHG, Hilton and Choice brands is excited to be seeking an energetic, goal oriented Chief Engineer for our TownePlace Suites by Marriott hotel located in Franklin, TN.

As a Hotel Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for all engineering and maintenance operations, including maintaining the building, grounds, and physical plant with particular attention towards safety, security, and asset protection. You will be accountable for management of the Maintenance Departments spending/budget, preventative maintenance, leading the maintenance staff and energy/utility conservation.

Your specific duties in this role will include:

Supervising the Engineering department Assisting in management of the physical plant including, equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical, and life safety systems Maintaining and operating all equipment at optimum effectiveness, efficiency and safety Ensuring compliance with, and fair administration of all Engineering department policies, standards and procedures Managing department's controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals. Maintaining accurate logs and records as required Handling guest problems and complaints effectively and in a timely manner Ensuring that employees are treated fairly and equitably Helping to ensure regulatory compliance to facility regulations and safety standards Ensuring that disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to Standard Operating Procedures.

We are looking for a Hotel Chief Engineer with solid leadership skills, a strong work ethic, and sufficient familiarity with all employee positions to perform duties in employees' absence. It is also important that you have excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills as well as the ability to effectively lead, influence, and encourage others.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

High school diploma or GED At least 1 year of experience in engineering and maintenance at a hotel or other hospitality business Solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills Previous experience or training in HVAC, electrical, pool maintenance, plumbing, etc.
