About this job

• Service technician must be able to work on the majority of equipment that we service, independently.• They are responsible for showing up on time everyday and pulling the correct part numbers that are needed for the job.• The service technician is also responsible for communicating with the office, customer and with the manufacturers.• Technicians need to lead by example and take responsibility for the work they perform.• They must also communicate often with the field service manager on important and time sensitive issues.• They will report any and all accidents to the vehicle, to the office immediately.• As a technician you must be available to be included in the on-call rotation.• Be able to solder copper pipe• Obtain a fire watch and burn permit• Will be responsible for being on time every morning• Need to maintain a clean truck and keep the inventory accurate• Need to be able to lift 50-70 lbs.• Be able to communicate well with the customers and other service techs• Must dress appropriate for the job• Pull part numbers for all orders• Will be responsible for truck stock replenishment and inventory accuracy• Required to change work order status' on the tablets accordingly• Will need to be able to retrieve history within the tablet to avoid duplicate calls• Must be able to pay attention to pay-types and labor rates when filling out a work order• Must send all copies of work receipts to the customer upon job completion• All emails must be checked daily and respond when necessary• Utilize the parts barcode system from truck stock via the tablet scanner• Use the common phrase's when filling out work orders• Must communicate with dispatch if a call is running longer than expected or over 2hrs.
