Job Description

Our growing Health Industries Advisory team provides strategy, management, technology and risk consulting services to help healthcare institutions around the world to anticipate and address their most complex business challenges.

Our practitioners are supported by a dedicated health research unit, which is managed by a physician partner and provides our clients with cutting-edge intelligence, perspective, and analysis on issues transforming the health industry. Our professionals have deep health industry expertise and include physicians, nurses, system specialists, health policy analysts, actuaries, financial advisors, and data analysts. The Health Industries Advisory team includes the following sectors: Health Services
- Payer/Provider, Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences
- Suppliers and Innovators/New Entrants.

Our Operations consultants help clients realize competitive advantage from operations. This high performing team translates business strategy into effective operations to drive both growth and profitability. Specific areas of focus include product innovation and development, supply chain, procurement and sourcing, manufacturing operations, service operations, and capital asset programs and operations.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Years of Experience: 7


Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree

Minimum Degree Required Major: in at least one or more of the following majors or academic concentrations: Business, Healthcare Management or Industrial Engineering.

Degree(s) Preferred: Master's degree

Preferred Degree Major:
in Business Administration, Public Health, or Health Administration; and


Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates proven extensive knowledge of, and success in roles managing teams involving the supply chain within the Healthcare Industry in one or more of the following roles (or similar roles):

- Associate Director or Senior Manager in a manufacturing or supply chain function within the life sciences industry, and
- Prior consulting roles, including a Manager or Senior Manager at a consulting firm in a supply chain function with prior roles within the pharmaceutical life sciences industry.

Demonstrates proven extensive knowledge of, and success in roles managing budget development, financial management and staff; also, producing white papers and/or publishing journal articles on the topic of supply chain management.

The following obtained certifications are preferred: Certified Material and Resource Professional, CMRP, APICS certified


Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates proven extensive abilities and success in roles managing the supply chain process in three or more of the following skill sets, as well as a specialty in pharmaceutical and biologics supply chain and operations:

- Financial analysis and modelling,
- Operational excellence, including operations strategy development, implementation, and due diligence,
- Strategic sourcing,
- Distribution and logistics,
- Supply chain planning,
- Process review, redesign and implementation,
- Clinical supply chain planning,
- In-sourcing and/or outsourcing assessment,
- Inventory management,
- Manufacturing footprint optimization,
- Capital asset management, and,
- Analysis and communication.

Demonstrates proven extensive abilities and success with the following additional areas:

- Identifying and addressing client needs: building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement; communicating value propositions; managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections; and preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials.

- Performing as a team leader: supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation
