Providence is calling a Nurse Manager, Birthplace to Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford, OR.

In this position, you will:

* Be accountable for the planning, direction and twenty-four hour operations of designated department(s).

* Provide leadership and effective management of the operations of the departments.

* Facilitate collaborative working relationships with departments, physicians and community agencies.

* Plan, coordinate and supervise clinical and administrative functions in accordance with system policies and goals.

* Provide leadership to Administrative Supervisors in their role as representatives of Hospital Administration and Department Directors in their absence.

* Ensure appropriate hospital-wide staffing according to current Nursing Department standards through oversight of staffing office.

* Provide leadership to staff to ensure patient care services are provided in a timely and effective manner, which is sensitive to the patient's physical, psychological and spiritual needs.

Required qualifications for this position include:

* Bachelor's degree in nursing or in process

* Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Oregon

* Basic Life Support (BLS)

* Six (6) years in nursing with experience in progressive leadership roles

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

* Master's degree

* Current NRP certification

* National Certification in Perinatal Specialty

* Four (4) years of Perinatal RN experience

* Nurse Management Experience
