AMDOR is currently seeking personnel to join our team to support production operations producing roll-up doors for the emergency vehicle industry.

Position purpose/summary: General Production Worker/Assembler

Produce quality roll-up doors utilizing various fabrication and assembly processes. Verify door meets the customer requirements.

General Production Team Member Responsibilities:

  • Tasks as assigned by supervision to manufacture roll-up doors for emergency vehicles.
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly job instructions, CAD drawings, and parts lists.
  • Fabricate, assemble, fasten, and pack roll-up doors to completion.
  • Verify roll-up doors are produced on time, to customer specifications and defined quality standards.
  • Timely accurate recording of production steps through the use of work station computer.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Contribute to team efforts to achieve established production goals. Skills and Qualifications:

TEAM PLAYER

  • Manufacturing, assembly, and fabrication experience (preferred).
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools and assembly equipment.
  • Able to read and use measuring tools (tape measure).
  • Able understand and follow instructions and simple CAD drawings.
  • Detail oriented, focused on quality.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written (must understand and speak English).
  • Able to use good judgment and decision making.
  • Excellent attendance history.
  • Physically fit, agile and able to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
