About this job

1. Performs all brake, front end and alignment maintenance as well as mechanical work in accordance with all company programs, policies, and procedures.
2. Maintains the orderly flow of customer service assignment to ensure productivity.
3. Ensures that Big O’s Extra Care Services are extended to all customers.
4. Responsible for the proper diagnosis and repair of all customers purchases; personally performs quality control of all shop functions.
5. Attends weekly store meetings to review safety issues, store policies, procedures, and product information changes as required.
6. Assists in the organizing, documenting, and processing of all adjustments and core credits.
7. Works with store management to ensure the successful accomplishment of budgeted service related quotas.
8. Ensures that all appropriate information for completed work is given to the counter personnel for inclusion in final invoicing.
9. Utilizes the company outside purchase program to ensure maximum profitability.
10. Ensures the consistent execution of the vehicle inspection program.
11. Achieves established service, sales and productivity goals.
12. Assists management in the orientation and training of all new personnel.

Requirements

Requirements
1. Minimum of two years’ experience in the automotive industry preferred.
2. Minimum of one year as a service technician.
3. Demonstrates good customer service skills.
4. Requires good oral, written, and communication skills.

Additional Info
1. Demonstrates and has the ability to perform duties of subordinates as required.
2. Completes all other related duties as assigned by store management.
3. Attends any company meetings & functions required by management.
