Recruiter Job Responsibilities:
We are looking for a recruiter, with full cycle recruiting experience, to attract, screen, select and onboard qualified and suitable personnel to fill our job openings.
Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates; advising managers; and managing applicants throughout all stages of the hiring process.
The goal is to attract top talent from our candidates' pool, gain competitive advantage and fuel company growth.
Recruiter Job Duties:
• Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers via phone to discuss needs.
• Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
• Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
• Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
• Sourcing: Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; appropriate job boards; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites. Attracts passive job seekers using social networks
• Develop and update phone interview/ phone screening form
• Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
• Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules.
• Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
• Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
• Manages candidates for intern/co-op program by facilitating group interviews
• Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
• Prepare and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc
• Promote company's reputation as "best place to work"
• Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Manages administrative tasks such as payment of invoices, and routing purchases/requisitions for approval.
• Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Recruiter Skills and Qualifications:
• Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, etc.)
• Supports Diversity
• Employment Law, Results Driven, Professionalism, Organization, Project Management, Judgment
• Proven recruiting experience
• Ability to organize assessment testing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong decision making skills
