Job Title: Selling Specialist ($15.00/hr)

San Francisco, CA

Department: Field Sales

Part-time- SAT/ SUN-10-6pm (times may vary)

4 weekends a month.

Job Purpose:
Selling Specialist works part-time as National Field Sales team member to engage consumers in a professional and energetic manner and to provide the customer with pertinent information about DERMAdoctor products in retail national retail locations (i.e. Ulta or Walgreens). It is the Selling Specialist's responsibility to educate the customer and selling product, with the result being sales which achieve or exceed stated goals. Greatest sales and hours take place on Saturdays, Sundays and weekday holidays. Individual must work a minimum of 3 out of 4 weekends per month.

Activities:

  • Increase awareness of DERMAdoctor products by engaging customers in the cosmetics and skincare departments
  • Demonstrate proper use of DERMAdoctor products
  • Educate consumer competitive advantages of DERMAdoctor products
  • Captivate the consumer with high energy while conveying a passion for the DERMAdoctor brand
  • Listen to the customer for what they need while recommending the appropriate DERMAdoctor product to provide the benefits as desired
  • Be a credible and trustworthy source of information to the consumer so that they may make an educated purchasing decision
  • Responsible for maintaining point of purchase material and appearance of brand while in store locations
  • Build relationships with store personnel to assist in achieving sales goals

This is what you should have:

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or GED required, advanced education a plus
  • 1 year experience in a public interfacing role required
  • Required prior experience in retail sales


Skills & Competencies:

  • Ability to work a minimum of 3 out of 4 weekends per month
  • Professional character and manner
  • Ability to understand the DERMAdoctor brand and uphold the Brand and Company integrity always, regardless of circumstances
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Outgoing and engaging personality
  • Self-motivated and desire to work independently
  • Understanding of retail business operations
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to assigned stores
  • Access to the internet with a personal computer and a cell phone with ability to send/receive email and text messages.
  • Ability to stand on your feet for up to eight hours at a time
