Patient Service Representative Positions
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of customer service experience
Ability to navigate various computer programs/software
Preferred experience/skills:
Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's degree in Communication, Business, Healthcare Administration, or liberal arts OR equivalent work combination of coursework and experience in a service industry highly desired.
Technical Certificate in medical billing/coding, Medical Assisting, and/or medical terminology.
Multiple years of customer service experience in a medical specialty practice or other healthcare related occupation with transferable skills.
Account Representative Positions
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
2 years recent related experience with accounts receivable and customer service in a healthcare facility, with at least 1 year experience working with one or more of the following:
a. Medical claims billing (HMO, PPO, Medical, Medicare, ICD-9, CPT codes)
b. Payment reconciliation
c. Customer service -- researching and resolving issues
OR
d. Completion of 2 year degree, plus one year recent, related experience
Preferred experience/skills:
Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's degree in Communication, Business, Healthcare Administration, or liberal arts OR equivalent work combination of coursework and experience in a service industry highly desired.
Technical Certificate in medical billing/coding, Medical Assisting, and/or medical terminology.

Minimum Requirements:
Non-restricted board certified Registered Nurse (RN). In addition, you must obtain and maintain a non-restricted California RN license through the Board of Registered Nurses. Sutter Physician Services will pay for applicable fees for the initial licensing process.
At least 1 year of clinical experience providing direct patient care.
At least 1 year of clinical experience in one of the following areas: advanced chronic illness, palliative care, hospice care (other home care based experience may be considered in lieu of hospice).
Preferred experience/skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Knowledge of state and federal hospice and home health regulatory guidelines
