Summer Tennis Shop Att – Hershey Country Club

This position will provide guest service at the Tennis facility at Hershey Country Club.

This is a seasonal position available for the summer season beginning May 2017. The working schedule may include morning, mid-day, evenings, weekends and holidays based on operational needs.

Job Functions:

• Opening/closing tennis courts daily
• Court maintenance, including watering the Har-Tru courts
• Providing guests with water, towels, lights, etc., taking court reservations and program sign-ups, assisting at socials, team matches, events and lessons.
• Working in the tennis shop, conducting retail transactions and collection of fees.
• Other duties as requested by the Head Tennis Shop Attendant or Tennis Pros.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older
• Must have at least 1 year tennis playing experience

Additional Qualifications:

• Must demonstrate a positive attitude towards guests and members.
• Must have good communications skills, knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport.

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time (duration of shift), walk, bend, reach, kneel.
• Requires flexibility in work schedule, ability to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays according to operational demands.
