Responsibilities: Nephrology and Hypertension is expanding the NP PA practice to care for an increasing dialysis patient population. This position will be based primarily in Red Wing with some coverage at our Northfield health system site as well. The candidate should expect to spend the majority of their time in Red Wing as their primary location and/or Northfield with some additional time spent in Rochester. Candidates applying to this position will need to be aware that this will be fluid and would require some flexibility.
This position will primarily focus on supporting the nephrology dialysis practice and may rotate between various practice sites including hospitalized patients, outpatient dialysis and the chronic kidney disease clinic. The NP PA will also assist with chronic disease management and assessment of new dialysis patients.
Qualifications: Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current Minnesota RN and APRN license and certification as a FNP, ANP, or ACNP .
Or graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice.
BLS certification and DEA registration required.
