About this job
Security Personnel is responsible for representing Miller’s Ale House Restaurant by maintaining a safe and secure environment for Guest and Employees. S/he provides guest service that exhibits professionalism, attention to detail, and the desire to create a welcoming environment. S/he will also work directly with other team members to ensure that all guests’ visits exceed their expectations.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Arrives to work on time as scheduled in full uniform
•Holds the door for incoming and departing guests and greets guests in a warm and friendly manner
•Smiling, friendly welcome to all guests as door security may be the initial point of contact to guest
•Provides the highest level of service by adhering to all Miller’s Ale House service standards
•Fulfills all job responsibilities in order to contribute to a “one great shift” operation
•Maintains crowd control and controls the flow of guest during our busiest times
•Provides any needed assistance to guest, other team members, or management; call local law enforcement when necessary
•Prevents any loss or damages by reporting irregularities and complying with legal requirements
•Screening of appropriate identification and ensuring all guest are of proper age, use ID checker
•Maintains awareness of surroundings at all times and upholds all safety standards without any physical contact with guest
•Acknowledge all guests that come within five feet in a smiling, friendly manner
•Proper food handling and sanitation of work areas
•Accomplishes all running and end of shift side work; including ensuring work areas are stocked
•Interact with guests to create “Ale House Raving Fans”
•Communicate with fellow team members and management to keep one another informed, wears a headset
Required Skills & Education
•Desire to provide exceptional service throughout the entire shift
•Strong communication skills and the ability to work alone as well as with a team
•Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment; ability to handle stressful situations
•Mentally and physically fit
•Team Members must be 18 years of age at the time of hire
Physical Demands
The Security is expected to be able to perform the job functions with reasonable accommodation. Physical demands include:
•Remaining standing for extended periods of time
•Bending, squatting, and lifting, up to 30 lbs., for short distances
•Frequent communication with Managers and Team Members. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
