General Production Worker - Full-time / Part-time

Production workers are classified into 4 different lines and 3 different shifts. Each line will have a specific part they run. Each line has three jobs production workers rotate throughout shift at least once.

Job: Quality-visual inspection and manual/dial micrometers and calipers. When aluminum cast forms, bubbles can form the size of the point on a pencil on the part they will identify. Will use air gages, depth gages, go/no-go gages.

Check 8 parts per shift, 1 per hour.

Lifting is required and will be lifting 50 lbs. for the entire shift! Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

1st shift 7 am - 3:15 pm
2nd shift 3 pm - 11:15 pm
3rd shift 11 pm - 7:15 am


DUTIES:
-Computer Monitor with Excel work instructions
-Manually writing and recording results on paper
-Go/no-go gages
-Digital Micrometers and Digital Calipers
-DIAL Bore gages, must be able to read a DIAL gage

Must have:
-Candidates must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
-Digital micrometer/caliper use
-6 months quality experience
-Production environment experience
-Flexible to off-shift
-Ability to read a DIAL gage
