Job Description:

This position is a revenue cycle management company.This company handles anything revenue related for hospital systems throughout the United States.

Each CSR will be assigned to a work group of ministries. There will be two different monitors that will be worked on during their shift, one with access to a proprietary system and the other the call Que. Once a call comes in, the Que will state where the call is coming in from, ex: a specific Hospital. The CSR will then answer the phone based on the hospital system, ex: Thank you for calling XYZ Hospital Billing. how may I help you. The average call time is 6-8 minutes in length. Patients will be calling for multiple needs; disputed charges, payment questions, requests for itemized billing statements, directions to facilities, etc. After each call, the CSR will have 60 seconds to enter data, send emails, etc and then will be put back into available status in the Q. The CSR will take 50-80 calls per shift. Monday and Tuesday are the highest call volume days. There will be shift leads and supervisors that will be within the call center to assist with calls and monitor ques.

Shift: 8 hr shift between 8am-7pm

Pay Rate: 14/hr

Qualities for Consideration:

  • Medical/Healthcare/Billing Background
  • 3-4 years of call center experience
  • Ability to handle large amounts of technical knowledge and apply it on a daily basis
