Production (Lay Up and Infinity)

Our client in the South Sacramento area is currently hiring individuals for their Lay Up and Infinity departments. In order to be considered for this position you must have experience in manufacturing wood products.

Job Duties:

• Candidates will be working on their feet for a majority of the day; operating in different areas of the manufacturing facility.
• This facility makes doors of different styles. They would be the type of doors that you see in hotels and high end commercial buildings.
• Candidate must be able to lift up to 60lbs.
• Candidate must be able to have ability to count and palletize doors according to production schedule.

Door Prep:
Most candidates will start in the sanding area. It is the most physically demanding job in the plant. They will be sanding doors by hand. (Door Prep)Once they have demonstrated a work ethic they will be assigned to a different area.
starting pay is 12.50/hr

CNC Department:
The goal is to get moved to a CNC machine to operate the machine on their own. If they have used CNC machines in the past then it is a big benefit. any type of machine operating experience is good; especially if they come from a wood or metal shop. we are looking for machine operators and not machinist. computer skills to be able to pull up the different programs/jobs. read a tape measure down to a 1/16th. experience with calipers is a plus.
starting pay is 15 hour. Will work either at 4am or 5am

Lay-Up Department:
This department they work in a team of 4, with 1 person being the team lead. They are working together to put the doors together and get them ready for them to be shipped out. in this department they would need to be able to lift up to 50lbs. need to be able to read a tape measure down to a 1/4.
Starting pay 13/hr

Infinity Department:
this department they are filling in any holes or are left when the CNC router cuts out the different patterns in a door. This is tedious work that, and someone in this department would need to pay attention to detail.
