Housekeeper - Full-time / Part-time

Marco Island Lakeside Inn, a boutique hotel, is seeking experienced full-time and part-time Housekeepers.  This individual will be responsible for maintaining all assigned units ranging in size from 1-2 bedroom condo-style suites.  This individual will also performing a variety of laundry duties to provide clean and sanitary linens and terry for our guests, including but not limited to washing, drying, sorting and inspecting items for wear and tear and stains according to standards. They will retrieve and deliver all linens to every room. 

Position Goals and Responsibilities:

• This position is responsible for promoting the Beachtree brand, through upholding brand standards-, establishing a high standard of excellence and expectation:

• Cleans all bathrooms, kitchens, common areas, ad bedrooms
• Makes all beds
• Maintains flooring in all assigned units, including cleaning, polishing, and vacuuming
• Responsible for unit detailing: dusting, polishing of furniture, cleaning of baseboards, hanging drapery, and placing sectional rugs
• Window maintenance: washing all windows, including sills
• Disposal of all waste in the appropriate area
• Takes unit inventory and replenishes necessary items
• Reports any damage to supervisor immediately
• ensure all laundry is appropriate washed, dried and folded
• ensure the laundry runs efficiently and hygienically
• Utilize the appropriate linen baskets to retrieve soiled and  deliver clean laundry from each room
• Prepare linen baskets for each room
• To adhere to the washing/drying instructions and report any faults to the Maintenance person
• Prepares linens needed in units
• keep the laundry area clean and tidy
• Offers great customer service, when applicable

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position all candidates must have the following:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6 months experience and/or training as a Housekeeper; Hospitality experience, preferred
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Open availability
• Spanish speaking is a plus
