Skilled Nursing Faciliy Director of Nursing

A Western Washington Senior Community Center is seeking a Director of Nursing to oversee all clinical operations throughout the site.

The Nurse Director will provide administrative oversight and clinical expertise to a 60 bed Skilled Nursing Retirement Community, and will be supported by a Development Manager, Human Resources Manager, Rehabilitation Manager and numerous Clinical Supervisors. The Skilled Nursing Director will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and will work autonomously in terms of day-to-day operations, budgeting, staffing, policy-setting, and strategic planning for the skill nursing facilities.

This retirement community offers a number of programs for the residents including: aerobics, water aerobics, arts, music, reading, exercise, education and special interests. The Director of Nursing will be responsible for all clinical practices at the facility including Inpatient and Outpatient Therapy, IV Therapy, Wound Care, Mental Health Services and Pharmacy.

The Retirement Community is seeking a Nursing Director with strong clinical skills, experience running an independent Skilled Nursing Facility, and an intrisically motivated individual. The Nurse Director SNF will need to work with a diverse staff, and provide leadership as the facility mentor.
