Male CAREGiver needed to care for gentleman in Lewistown - Part-time

Home Instead Senior Care is looking to hire a male CAREGiver with a caring heart to care for an elderly man in his Lewistown home. Schedule would be M-W-F 9:30a to 12:30 pm.  Duties include, but are not limited to: Companionship, meal preparation, transportation, and shopping.  No experience necessary.  Paid Training Provided.  $200 Sign-on Bonus.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Assistance with grooming and bathing
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
• Assistance with errands and transportation
• Alzheimer’s Care

*No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by Home Instead Senior Care* 

Requirements to be a CAREGiver:

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
• 18 years of age or older
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Home Instead Senior Care provides non-medical assistance to seniors in their own home.  Each franchise is individually owned.  Ron and Christine Krasnansky own both the State College and Saxton offices.  The State College office provides service to Centre, Clearfield, Mifflin and Juniata Counties.  The Saxton office serves Bedford, Huntingdon and Fulton counties.  EOE
