RIite Smiles Account Manager, E&I Specialty Benefits - Warwick, RI - Full-time / Part-time

The Account Manager is responsible for the day to day management and service needs of the Rhode Island RIite Smiles account by ensuring accurate and timely implementation and maintenance of all operational aspects of our contract.  In addition, the candidate will also serve to support community based initiatives with a focus on improving member access, provider education and driving stronger engagement in the community. 
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Proactively meet with state personnel and determining current and future business and regulatory needs and help drive internal strategy and tactics from those discussions
Collaborate internally across the enterprise (i.e. network, actuarial, legal, product, clinical) to meet ongoing business and project requirements
Ensure network products, fee schedules and other operational requirements are set up in timely and accurate manner
Coordinate and audit all reporting needs for the state
Consistently review the state contract to ensure we are maintaining contract compliance
Identify process improvement and cost savings opportunities when appropriate
Host meetings as required and prepare agendas and minutes
Build relationships with community partners (ex. HeadStart, WIC, RIPN [Rhode Island Parents Network]), institutional partners (FQHCs, Hospital Based programs such as St. Josephs) and support existing relationships such as RI Kids Count
Support oral health activities for RIte Care MCOs through participation in MCO sponsored health fairs and other community events
Create messaging on oral health topics that can be distributed to providers and members on: the importance of age one visits, reminder to get their annual dental visit and preventive services, the value of varnish and sealants etc.
Support school based programs and dental public health policy initiatives
In person attendance at all Oral Health Commission (OHC) meetings

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of Project Management or business analysis experience with demonstrated ability to gather undefined or unclear requirements utilizing strong probing skills (this is not a financial analysis role, financial analyst need not apply)
Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems required (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Demonstrated process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and/or evaluation of business processes
Excellent communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills
Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements
Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems
Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks
Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years healthcare or state contract based experience
Experience with dental insurance
Familiarity with Facets systems and processes
