Looking for a Maintenance Technician in Lafayette, IN!
Crane Technicians will be responsible for servicing, installing, dismantling, and inspecting existing and new crane equipment within the Caterpillar facility in Lafayette, IN. Techs will be responsible for the preventative maintenance / repair of both electrical and mechanical aspects of Overhead cranes, monorails/hoist, JIB Cranes and Turnkey system cranes. Cranes could be air and electrical powered. Techs will be working on 480v, 3 Phase motors, VFDs, Bearings, Pulleys and chain systems. A majority of the day will involve scheduled Preventative Maintenance until an issues is uncovered and then repairs will be made. 50% of the day will be proactive, the other 50% will be reactive to different situations. Overhead cranes range anywhere from 110-250 ton cranes. There will be a range of smaller cranes that will be worked on as well. 500 total cranes onsite at CAT.

Pay: $19-25/hour
Shift: 2nd and 3rd shift
