Maintenance Technician

**Must have experience with electrical troubleshooting, specifically with PLC's (Allen Bradley)**

This role is responsible for the repair and ongoing maintenance of all plant machinery and equipment. This includes performing regular inspections to ensure that the machinery and equipment is operating to design specifications and that down time is minimal so plant production schedules are not adversely impacted. This role is responsible for troubleshooting problems and issues and for finding and implementing cost effective resolutions. This role is responsible for controlling the maintenance parts inventory which includes identifying those critical parts to be considered for inventory. On occasion there will be a requirement to coordinate external contractors performing maintenance tasks in the plant.

Position Accountability's:

• 10% To follow established procedures and guidelines concerning the repair of pumps, valves, compressors, forklifts, plant vehicles, and other plant equipment.
• 10% Perform Preventative Maintenance checks on all plant equipment per intervals established by Arclin procedures and guidelines.
• 10% Perform cutting and welding as deemed necessary to build, replace, or repair plant equipment, valves, pumps, lines and other plant equipment.
• 40% Complete work assigned by the Maintenance Superintendent and / or originated via the plant work order system with priorities assigned by Production and Maintenance supervision. Repair and maintain equipment and instrumentation.
• 30% Maintain shop and plant work locations in a clean and safe condition.
