Job Description:

Quartz Core is looking for Technical project managers to partner with Line of Business SME’s and Quartz development team leads to integrate and align business and  IT objectives.

You will:

  • Engage with other lines of business technology teams and business stakeholders
  • Navigate and drive large scale development projects with aggressive deadlines
  • Track and communicate project status across organizational hierarchy
  • Solve complex dependencies and broker compromises between a wide range of stakeholders

You have:

  • Prior experience with analyzing existing business and IT processes, developing and rolling out new processes to the global organization.
  • Managed large scale software development projects and have experience running programs with data driven program metrics, ideally to automate test tools.
  • The desire to own the responsibility and the drive to accomplish positive technical results
  • Ability to parse complex technical topics and dependencies between them to help move large scale Quartz solutions forward
  • A strong track record of managing expectations at the senior leadership, development lead, and junior developer level
  • Experience with PM processes and the ability to articulate and recommend the best solution
  • Ability to understand and translate technical concepts across development and business audiences
  • Strong written technical documentation skills to support your assessments
  • Degree in computer science or technical disciplines preferred

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience managing a large portfolio with multiple programs and resources (budget >$10MM)
  • Six sigma certification (Green or Black belt in DMAIC and/or DMADV)
  • Prior experience managing large scale development projects with aggressive deadlines
  • Hands-on development of project management tooling is highly desirable
