Purpose and Scope:Ralph Lauren is looking for a Retoucher to work closely with an in-house post-production team to produce high quality imagery in a high volume, fast paced work environment. The Retoucher role will primarily be responsible for assuring post production standards remain consistent through revisions and quality controlling actions. Additionally, the Retoucher role will work closely with the lead Retoucher and Digital Asset Management team in preparing files for upload and eventually archiving. This role requires an individual with high attention to detail and a acute sense of organization and an enthusiasm to work in a fast paced ecommerce environment. Responsibilities: Work closely with staff Retouchers and Digital Asset Team to retouch, crop and upload on-figure & still life images for all Ralph Lauren e-commerce brands Amend and revise imagery to meet protocols for all brands in accordance to Ralph Lauren guidelines Learn image guidelines for image consistency on the global website using several applications Serve as the studio point person for customer related image escalations Help maintain digital assets file structure and organization Communicate completed projects and deadlines to a multi-faceted studio Retouch special projects as needed Qualifications High technical proficiency in Macintosh OS and Adobe CC Photoshop BFA or similar in a Visual Arts related degree / 2+ experience as a Retoucher in a commercial/ e-commerce environment Strong retouching skills Proven experience retouching on-figure photography Previous experience working within a digital photographic studio Strong understanding of color correction & image constraints Proven ability to work efficiently and producing a high turnover of images Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines with extreme pressure and change Pro-active and able to take initiative Excellent eye for detail Ralph Lauren is an equal opportunity employer.
