Responsibilities:

Overview

Participates in care of endoscopy patients through the perioperative experience. Prepares the endoscopy field, obtains the needed equipment, upholds patient safety standards, and assists the registered nurse. Assists the physician while performing endoscopy procedures. Monitors inventory levels of procedural supplies. Cleans and disinfects endoscopes based on manufacturers recommendations. Performs all work with accord to mission, vision, and values of Mercy Health System.
