About this job

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Evaluation of contract performance and compliance; review of contract requirements; review of staffing levels; review training documents; interaction with client management
  • Training of employees to contract standards; review and understanding of training requirements; conducting training sessions; evaluating comprehension of material
  • Complete and process Payroll; where applicable, review Sign-in sheets daily; review web check-in daily; review Payroll worksheets weekly; verify with local G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. office regarding receipt and submittal
  • Review invoicing and resolve issues; review invoices as needed; communicate with local G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. offices regarding discrepancies, rate changes, past due invoices; communicate with G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. billing department regarding resolution; communicate with the client regarding resolution
  • Identify performance shortcomings and then develop and implement process or program solutions to address shortcomings; review and understanding of contract requirements and expectations; develop action plans
  • General Human Resources management; participate in selection and placement, conduct performance reviews, manage attendance, and conflict resolution; scheduling; as required
  • Maintain open, timely and accurate communication between client, local G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. office and the client
  • Administer G4S Safety Program; semi-annual review and revise the security Emergency Response plan; monitors compliance with regulatory and fire prevention requirements and safety items assigned by client

Requirements

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess, or have the ability to obtain, the required training for a weapons permit / license as required by local or state laws regulating the private Security Officer industry
  • Must possess a current and valid driver's license
  • Must be able to pass any state-required training or other qualifications for licensing
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess a current and valid Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) Security Officer License issued by the State of California
  • Must possess a current and valid Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) Firearms Permit (.38 cal and/or .40 cal) issued by the State of California

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must have one (1) year prior law enforcement, military, or security-related experience
  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • One (1) year of prior supervisory experience
    • One (1) year of service as a Security Officer with G4S demonstrating the ability to supervise other Security Officers in a leadership role

  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
