Seeking Entry Level and High Level Medical Billers for a Contract-To-Hire opportunity in Ontario, Ca.
JOB DUTIES:
- Responsible for submitting claims for billing and collections on all payers
- Responsible for obtaining required authorizations necessary for the processing and payments of claims
- Follows up on denials
- Understands Medical Terminology
- Operates computer to input follow up notes and retrieve collection and patient information
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRY LEVEL ($11/hr-$15/hr)
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Medical Billing and Coding Certification or 2+ years of medical billing experience
- Prior customer service experience
- Analytic and problem solving skills
- Ability to effectively communicate
- High School Diploma or GED
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR HIGH LEVEL ($16/hr-$21/hr)
- 5+ years of medical billing experience in hospital or acute care
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding including ICD-10 and CPT
- Customer service experience
- High School Diploma or GED
