Oakwells News Cafe is looking for retail Sales Associates for our Hotel lobby Starbucks Gift Shop located in Providence RI. We are looking for a team player who is self-motivated and looking for a career in our company. If you are energetic, responsible, self-motivated, detail oriented and always do your best….we would like to set up an interview.
Title: Sales Associate
Report to: Store Manager/Owner
Store Hours: 6am – 10pm
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Complete sales transactions and assist customers with product information
- Assist with opening and closing of the store, including cash handling
- Receive stock and ticket merchandise correctly
- Stock shelves, size and organize merchandise
- Operate cash register and perform closing functions.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- General Housekeeping
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Barista Experience a plus
- Able to work Independently
- Flexible schedule – Evenings, Weekends and Holidays are a MUST
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have reliable transportation
