PLC/Electrical Troubleshooting
Computer Skills Job Description: - Candidate will be working as an Instrumentation Technician.
- They will be working on the 1st shift salary non-exempt, so that if they work OT they will be paid 1.5 hours.
- Their job will primarily consist of maintaining and troubleshooting instrumentation controls and electrical components within the facility.
- Most of their time will be spent in the control room working with the instrumentation and controls in that area.
- They will also interface with the instrumentation throughout the facility and conducting preventative maintenance on equipment on campus.
- Candidates first and foremost must have experience with pressure, flow, level, and temperature.
- These will be the aspects of the plants function which they will be responsible for.
- If there is an issue with any one of those factors they will be responsible to diagnose trouble shoot, and problem solve the issue to determine whether or not it is an instrumentation or equipment related issue.
- Candidates will also be responsible for troubleshooting PLC issues with Allen Bradley language.
- They have to be able to use ladder logic to determine issues in code and function of the PLCs.
- Will also be working with a computer to manage a preventative maintenance schedule, complete RFQs, and manage parts coming in and out of the facility. Work Environment: This is a 40-acre campus with a multitude of equipment. Candidates will be working primarily in the control room working with the instrumentation and PLCs, but they will at times conduct preventative maintenance on instrumentation and equipment throughout the campus of equipment.
