Essential Functions:

Consolidates creating maximum room for incoming furniture while maintaining an organized and uniform appearance. Keeps warehouse swept and clean. Unload merchandise off receiving truck. Assist in the cleanliness of the showroom, offices, and restroom and storage spaces of the store.

Areas of responsibilities include but not limited to: Disposal of trash, mopping, maintain the cleanliness of windows and front office. Handle minor store repairs, furniture touch- ups, receiving and unpacking of accessories and furniture. Assists in all floor moves and placement of accessories and furniture as directed. Assist with customer merchandise carry-outs.

This includes being aware of and addressing any safety hazards.

Job Responsibilities:

Performs all other duties as directed by store management. Constantly surveys the store looking for safety concerns and new methods to keep store clean and organized.

This job operates in a retail warehouse setting. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as a two-wheel dolly, box cutters, plastic wrapping materials and tape.

Physical Demands:

He/she may need to lift 10 to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Occasionally he/she may be required to manipulate weights in excess of 200lbs with the help of a dolly and/or other employees.

Depending on the type of position. The days and hours can be scheduled between Sunday - Saturday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm or 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm resulting in 40 hours a week. Depending on necessity location employees may occasionally be asked to work overtime.

May be asked to work past normal work hours unless business deems it necessary.
