The position of Forklift Operator is responsible to safely and efficiently operate a forklift to transport finished product to and from various locations within the plant or to trailers for transporting or prepare items for shipment and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Compensation is $13/hr and $1/hr Night Shift Premium.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to complete receiving, loading, transporting, stocking, staging, organizing, picking, counting, and maintaining all packaging inventory.
- Safety and efficiently operate a forklift to manage material movement within warehouse for purpose of ensuring efficient manufacturing operations and receiving and shipment of materials and finished goods to distribution points.
- Remove finished goods from production lines. Place finished goods on a stretch wrapper. And put finished goods away to correct location in warehouse according to WMS.
- Move or consolidate finished product to ensure inventory control practices are followed or to ensure proper housekeeping.
- Complete necessary paperwork.
- Perform daily inspection of assigned equipment.
- Attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Must be at the workstation at the beginning of the shift.
- Must continuously follow all safety policies and procedures on the job.
- Maintain an awareness of and use Good Manufacturing Practices.
- For safety and business purposes, must have communication skills including reading, writing and must be able to communicate to others as well as be able to receive communication from others.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of pre-employment assessment test.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Prior forklift experience required
- Must be able to pass a Forklift Operator's written exam & Driving Test
