Overview:
The Event Specialist Mentor is a part-time position and is integral in assuring that client events and product demonstrations meet the client's requirements. This position will travel within a local area and evaluate and audit event execution. Event Specialist Mentors will maintain a pulse on a local level with our retailers and assure that we address any concerns. This position assures the quality of client events, workforce and client/retailer relationships.
Responsibilities:
In addition the Event Specialist Mentors will be responsible for the following:
* Conduct face-to-face candidate interviews for Engagement Specialists in person; collect and submit all required candidate documents to management
* Conduct orientations for new Engagement Specialist
* Perform in-store assessments of product demonstration events
* Build and foster relationships with in store personnel and management
Qualifications:
Education/ Experience:
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* 2+ years of retail/client service experience
General Competencies:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based email platform
* Excellent time management and organization
* Work independently from home based office
* Strong attention to detail
* Verbal and written communication
Travel Requirements:
* Local travel required
* Weekend work required
* Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week (Thursday, Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday)
* Ability to work additional hours on occasion
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to drive in metro areas
* Success Measures:
* All events are being executed according to client requirements
* Assessment results are reported
* Engagement Specialist talent meets the client's expectations
* Successfully introduce new Engagement Specialists to client and retailer processes
* Areas are staffed with appropriated talent
