QA Tech has an important role to play in the daily operations of our facility. Their primary responsibility is to ensure both food safety and food quality of everything we produce. In this role, technicians are responsible for monitoring products throughout the production process, testing for quality and food safety. This job requires attention to detail, the ability to effectively communicate and uphold the high standards Cargill sets for the safety of its employees and products we produce. A position in FSQR requires working in extreme cold and hot environments and standing for up to 10 hours each day.

Principal Accountabilities

* 30% - Monitor/Verify HACCP CCP's, SSOP's and GMP's

* 30% - Monitor all steps of the production process to ensure procedures are followed and product meets customer specifications

* 30% - Obtain and Test product samples and record results

* 10% - Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

* High school Diploma or GED OR 2 years of experience in food processing.

* Must be able to communicate/read and write basic English

* Basic math skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Computer skills including Microsoft office products

* Previous food safety or quality experience

* Bilingual (English/Spanish)
