The Daytona Beach Kennel Club and Poker Room has been in operation since 1948. We are owned and operated by Delaware North Companies. Delaware North Companies is family owned and has been in operations for almost 100 years. Delaware North Companies is a hospitality company with revenue of $1.5 billion annually. Our location offers an ultramodern 53,000 square feet complex with a luxurious expanded Poker Room, Clubhouse Restaurant, wall to wall flat screen and big screen LCD TV’s as well as private betting carrels to watch your favorite Thoroughbred or Harness Horse Races, Jai-Alai or Greyhound Races from premier tracks around the country. We also have cornhole tournaments and live concerts.
We are a major sponsor of Greyhound Pets of America (GPA). We provide support to GPA through financial donations, fundraisers and use of our facilities for their donation center and kennel compound. When greyhounds finish their racing career, GPA places them in a loving home where they can enjoy their retirement.
The Opportunity

QualificationsMust have one year of food service experience.
Must have basic math and money handling skills.
Must maintain Florida approved food hand certification.
Maintain and follow all State of Florida Alcohol regulations

The following requirements are essential for the tasks assigned to this position:

Vision: Distance and Near,
Must be at least 18 years of age
Standing and walking 100% of the time
Requires some bending, stooping, and the ability to periodically lift and carry up to 50 pounds, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
Must be able to speak, read and understand English fluently
