Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community in
Edina, Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Richfield, and S. Minneapolis.
No certification required! This is an entry level position - we offer PAID training!
If you were working for us, here are some of the things you would have done last week:
- Offer companionship & conversation
- Monitor diet and eating
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with walking
- Assist with laundry and ironing
- Take out the garbage
- Plan, prepare, and clean-up meals
- Plan visits, outings, & trips
- Escort for shopping and errands
- Care for Alzheimer's disease
- Assist with personal cares, such as bathing and toileting
- Assist with clothing selections
- Care for house plants
- Provide reminders for appointments
- Stimulate mental awareness
- Reminisce about the past
- Check food expirations
- Assist with dressing and grooming
- Certification or past professional experience is not required, initial training is provided. Personal or professional experience of caring for someone is a plus.
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
- Hold current valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
- Possess fluent English language skills
