Multi Crafted Maintenance Technician - up to $30/hr - Full-time

The Multi Crafted Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping plant equipment and facilities operationally efficient with regard to mechanical repair, working order and in constant production mode at all times. This position has the opportunity to perform work on a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment. We offer competitive compensation with a base hourly pay rate based on skills and experience. Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and make electrical/mechanical repairs to all process, packaging, utility, and building equipment as necessary.
• Perform electrical/mechanical preventive maintenance on all equipment as required.
• Ensure all electrical/mechanical safeguards of plant equipment are installed as required to conform to all regulations; company, state and federal.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent preferred.
• Must posses mechanical and electrical skills.
• 3-5 years maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing is preferred. Prior experience in Industrial Manufacturing is required.
• Basic working knowledge of various types of conveyors, pumps and other various types of machinery (process & high speed packaging equipment).
• Experience with bottling, molding, filling equipment is a plus. Experience in drawing basic line to line diagrams and reading prints and schematics to troubleshoot circuitry issues is preferred.
• Working knowledge of current fabrication techniques in order to fabricate simple guards, brackets, fixtures, and components.
• Working knowledge of interpreting sketches, written instructions, rigging equipment for removal, installation, and transportation.
