Aircraft Engine Mechanic

We are currently searching for an technician that has primary experience in overhaul and calibration of T56/501, RR250, J85 hydro-mechanical type turbine engine accessories. Candidates must be familiar with all aspects of accessory repair and overhaul practices that include, inspection, repair, assembly, and calibration of various hydro-mechanical components.

The accessory experience shall include a sound knowledge of test bench operation, application of product to test equipment and extensive experience in calibration and, be able to interpret drawings, technical data, follow work instructions.

Inspect and repair power plant malfunctions, including cracked components, oil leaks, etc.; diagnose malfunctions, isolate causes and correct breaks; test engine operations, use test equipment to locate source of malfunction(s). Replace/repair damaged components and remove engine/major components from aircraft, using hoist or other lifting devices; disassemble and inspect parts for wear, warping, or other defects; repair/replace defective engine components and reassemble.

Perform aircraft services to include engine flushing/cleaning, parts lubrication, and required maintenance checks. May specialize in repair and modification of engines, structural components, precision repair, functional spare parts, and assemblies. Recommends revisions to maintenance procedures to improve efficiency and ensure quality workmanship.
