And here are the Essential duties:
To ensure a store’s kitchen functions as a cohesive and efficient operation by
1. Supervising kitchen employees;
2. Maintaining an environment in which kitchen employees can succeed;
3. Acting as the primary contact for any/all matters regarding kitchen production.

Essential Functions:
1. Be extremely familiar with and proficient in kitchen/catering operations at Specialty’s.
2. Organize kitchen employee schedules, including breaks and lunches.
3. Use Charts, Lists, Forms, and Recipes to maintain an efficient kitchen environment.
4. Ensure staff comply with all policy and procedures
5. Assist Store Operations in all catering production
6. Assist General Manager in evaluating staff individual performance
7. Assist in implementation and compliance of all HR objectives as delegated by General Manager
8. Assist in store administrative functions as delegated by store General Manager, which may include
inventory, ordering, and receiving purveyor orders.

You Need to:
1. Be physically able to work an eight (8) hour day or more while on your feet
2. Safely lift ten (10) to fifty (50) pounds
3. Have good communication, written, math, and organizational skills
4. Have good coaching, motivational, and leadership skills
5. Show sharp attention to detail
6. Have a passion for food
7. Have 3-5 years of management experience in the food service industry
