Maintenance Tech III - Full-time

Catholic Housing Services is a private non-profit owner, manager, and developer of affordable housing. CHS currently has over 2,000 units of housing and 33 commercial units in 52 facilities across Western Washington. The Maintenance III position will have a lead role in insuring maintenance is conducted in consistent, high quality, efficient and cost conscious manner. For selected buildings within the greater Seattle area.

The Maintenance III position is a highly skilled technician responsible for the apartment turn over preparation, cleanliness, routine & preventative maintenance and repair of multiple properties in the greater Seattle area. Duties involve maintenance plumbing; carpentry; drywall; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; to keep all of CHS's facilities in good repair. Assists with maintaining building security systems,  and provides tenants with a safe, positive and sanitary living environment. Performs a variety of routine general building maintenance and repair tasks, occasional grounds maintenance and janitorial duties. Performs these tasks with minimum supervision, applying solid work experience in this area.
